50th Anniversary ‘Glorious Mud’ selective exhibition - May 2025
Our annual ‘Glorious Mud’ selective exhibition was especially important this year as it marked our 50th Anniversary. Founded in 1975, the South of the River Potters’ Club has grown from a tiny shopfront in East Fremantle with a handful of members, to our spectacular Karlup Ceramics Studio in Alfred Cove with 125 members and a long waiting list. It has been a remarkable story of dedication, development, creativity and perserverence by generations of potters who have led the Club through lean times and successes to our current status as one of the premier ceramics venues in Western Australia.
